Living kidney transplants to increase under joint Australian and NZ program

The Minister responsible for the Organ and Tissue Authority, the Hon Mark Coulton MP, has launched the new Australian and New Zealand Paired Kidney Exchange (ANZKX) Program.

This is a Trans-Tasman partnership brings the Australian and New Zealand paired kidney exchange programs together, with an aim to improve the lives of Australians and New Zealanders by increasing access to life-saving kidney transplants.

The announcement is available on the Department of Health website.
