I received a kidney/pancreas transplant in 2003, my son was born in 2005. I thought this would never be attainable, not only did my organ donor save my life but also gave the amazingly beautiful opportunity for me to become a Mother.

In 2007 I needed another kidney transplant  as my donor kidney rejected. In 2010 after 3 years of dialysis I was granted the amazing gift of another kidney transplant.

Unfortunately due to complications in 2013 I once again found myself on dialysis and needing insulin injections, so I went back on dialysis.

In 2015 I was granted another combined kidney/pancreas transplant.

Thank you does not even begin to describe the depth I feel for my precious gifts of life not only for me but my child, family and friends. All donor families are pure angels, so I will simply say THANK YOU, as this is understood so universally.
