DonateLife Victoria research scholarship

Thanks to the generosity of a liver recipient, a new scholarship has opened. DonateLife Victoria were generously bequeathed money from the grateful recipient, to facilitate research into increasing organ and tissue donation and transplantation. 

The scholarship will fund, or contribute to funding, research related to increasing organ donation and transplantation up to the amount of $25,000 each year. 

All professional fields relating to donation and transplantation are eligible to apply.  

How to apply

  1. Complete the DonateLife Victoria scholarship application form  
  2. Email the form to DonateLife Victoria Operations Manager, Matthew Ellis: matellis@redcrossblood.org.au 

Applications are currently open and close at end of business on Friday 29 March 2024.

Registering is easy and only takes one minute. All you need is your phone, Medicare card and one minute to register.

It doesn’t matter how old you are, your medical history, your lifestyle, what country you’re from or how healthy you are — you can still register as an organ and tissue donor.
