How we use data

Our data analysis is used to inform discussions with our DonateLife teams and relevant state and territory health departments to ensure ongoing improvements in clinical practice. This includes continuing to evolve our dashboard reporting, to drive clinical best practice across DonateLife hospitals and provide further opportunities for growth in donation and transplantation.

Our ongoing priority is to gather more data and increase analytics and reporting in order to drive further improvements to the donation, retrieval and transplantation sector.

We work closely with Australian donation and transplant outcomes registries to ensure accurate data on donation and transplant activity is available to clinical stakeholders and the general public.

We want all Australians to talk about organ and tissue donation. If you want to be a donor, make sure you tell your family and friends.

Registering is easy and only takes one minute. All you need is your phone, Medicare card and one minute to register.

It doesn’t matter how old you are, your medical history, your lifestyle, what country you’re from or how healthy you are — you can still register as an organ and tissue donor.
